Related to the 2020 Bobcat Fire
Participants will be part of a crew assisting with the clean up of damages due to the Bobcat 2020 Wildfire
Position Details
Must either have been affected by the Bobcat Fire or a Long Term Unemployed Worker
Must reside in the City of Los Angeles
Entry level crew member, $17/Hour
Supervisor positions available, wage DOE
Projected maximum of 900 hours
Employment case management and
supportive services are available
Work Requirements
Able to carry tools (50+ lbs)
Able to safely use tools/equipment
Able to work outdoors
Able to carry tools (50+ lbs)
Able to work in all weather conditions (hot/dry, cold/light rain, sun exposure)
Able to bend/stoop continuously
Able to stand on hillsides and slopes while using tools and equipment
Able to work as a productive team member and take direct supervision from crew leader
Employer reserves the right to drug screen or run background checks
Proof of Full COVID-19 Vaccination
Enrollment Qualifications for WIOA
Over the age of 18
Right to Work Documents
Valid Drivers License/ID, Social Security Card, US Passport Selective Service (Males only)
DD-214 for Veterans
Reside in communities impacted by the Bobcat fire
